Youth

Explore the many youth activities that start from the very earliest age. From birth through the teenage years and beyond, there is a wealth of activities to get involved with. The newly refurbished Zone youth centre is continually expanding and fast becoming the pride of the North of England. Providing a wealth of innovative programmes, they reach out to the community’s youth allowing them to socialise in the way that they want to.

Leeds also plays host to the country’s youth groups who put on regular events within the community, each in their unique way, offering youth opportunities to interact with their Jewish heritage in an informal way. The synagogues are also committed to giving Leeds youth a way to form a connection. The Tribe Youth Worker for example services the Orthodox Synagogues, and the Sinai Reform Synagogue has their own youth worker too. Starting from this excellent base, every child has the chance to become an active participant in the community.
